Since this a section for jazz (among other things) I am posting this short, somewhat traditional jazz piece.

String Trio Plus (http://www.planetcanadice.com/Music/StringTrioPlus_MDrost.mp3)

If you've listened to my Jazz Cue for Violin, Viola and Cello (posted in the Music section several weeks ago) this piece is a slightly longer version with some drums from StormDrum. All the strings are from the platinum pro xp. I think I used close mics only with a little reverb added.

What a blast! It's a ton of fun....don't change a thing!

(Having said that, it would be interesting to hear a few more articulations...?)

cool cool cool!

Thanks andy.

More articulations? Well, I guess I could. The cello is all pizzicato and the viola is mostly spiccato, staccato and quick up-down martele. The violin takes the lead and uses a lot of articulations, e.g. some slurs and slides, in addition to the spiccato, staccato and quick up down bowing.

Still not enough?

Nice drums, and a good mix unfortunately the improvisation seems to repeat itself endlessly with the same licks there you could really do something nice, a great opportunity to stretch the whole piece out and make it really interesting. Itīs definitely different than what we usually hear give us more !! :D
