It's a beautiful theme, simple and distinctive.

And for some reason, it reminds me of at least two Beatles songs: I Feel Fine, and Within You Without You.

Anyone else hear some similarities?

Someone once told me "there´s nothing new in music" so perhaps it is so, doesn´t matter anyway I guess it sounds great doesn´t it? :D

I haven't seen the film yet. Is the entire soundtrack good? I've heard the theme many times and I've been wondering if the rest of it is worth all the hype. National Public Radio did a side-by-side comparison with Munich before the Oscars, which I only half listened to, and I believe they were giving examples of how well the Munich soundtrack worked in the film and how the Brokeback soundtrack seemed incomplete. Has anyone found this to be true? Just curious.

Eh...I don't really know why it recieved so much praise.....to be honest...

And "The Wings" has too much similarity to Brian Kennedy's "DIfferent God" (read: nearly identical), for my taste.

the main them is great for the film.. but could be as you say a little uncomplete..

but was stronger than me when the film started in my head taht kind of music had to be done from Pat Metheny.. his "map of the world" was not too far from that style
