Two questions in one post --
Any ideas on the best DFD setting? I'm running a new G5 dual core 2.3 Ghz. When trying to play I get lots of dropped notes, stuck notes, etc. I'm only doing one part at a time.
Second, when I try to change the articulation using the Word Builder, the slurred always comes out as staccato. I'm using the top tenors multi.
Thanks,
JD

the slurred always comes out as staccato.
It happens to me sometimes too.

Hello,
As for DFD settings, when working with WordBuilder, make sure that 'reserved voices' is set to 248. I get good results with the Preload Buffer size at 192 and the voice buffer size at 384.
If slurred is coming out as staccato, can you send your choir file to techsupport@eastwestsounds.com so that we can look into the issue?

Thanks, Sam. I'll email that file tonight when I get into my office (the choir work is currently my night job!). Thanks for the DFD settings. I never had a problem running high instrument counts using EWQL Symphony Orchestra on the same machine, even using all three mic positions and multiple instruments simultaneously, so I was surprised how sluggish the choirs seemed. Hopefully this will clear it up.

You can always replicate the settings you have for your orchestra if they work well!
