This brit really needs a thread. :) One of my favourite composers, he pretty much owned other composers from 1994-98. He then went on to do lame James Bond music unfortunately. He seems to owe most of his success to his talented orchestrator Nicholas Dodd. Dodd being very good at taking in keyboard playing guys and turning them into film score gods. :) During those 4 years he came out with 4 excellent scores.

Yeah ID4 is great...especially if you have that extended bootleg. :)

Heh heh

"leave it up to a Brit to write some of the most rousing and patriotic music in the history of American cinema."

:D

And where can one find this bootleg? And how does it sound quality-wise?

The bootleg sounds great and maybe you can buy it somewhere I don't know. Most of course get it off p2p and stuff.

"Sounds great" as in sounds as good quality-wise as other released scores? Hmmm.... if that is true, and is the entire film's music, that means someone copied the music stem. This means the person worked at a post facility involved in the film...very interesting.

What was originally released was a small amount of music and an injustice to the great score so I guess someone had to do something. :) The quality of the bootleg tracks is pretty much the same as the official cd, I never notice any difference when listening to either.
