WB & Nuendo not stable

Hi ,

I am trying to get WB to work stabily as a VST insert in Nuendo 3.2.1 1153

It Causes so many problems since i have installed it. Nuendo Key commands seem to casue it to freak out. I heard that I must disable KCs in nuendo to get it to work. That is Not an option, i have been using KCS & stienberg fo 16 years, that aint getting disabled. !:mad:


Are there any power users here using it in Nuendo?? XP PC Sp 2


I have a peer, that also has same problems . . ( which I can ellaborate on, when i have a minute)

Hello,

Do you have the latest version of WordBuilder and Choirs from our website? Are you loading as a MIDI plugin on a MIDI track?

I have downloaded and installed the latest WB & Samples, I am using it as VST insert.

When i tried to use it as a stand alone, i get more crashes ??

Yes it's a huge pain, but disabling the key commands is necessary and one of the limitations. I have a controller next to me so at least I can do most of the basic Nuendo functions without having to mouse everything. I would be totally lost if I didn't have it... not being able to use key commands drives me insame after 30 seconds...

i have 3 dedicated Xkeys keyboards that I use for KC, in Nuendo, so there is no way i can use it with out KCs.

We work on such tight deadlines, as I'm sure you do too, that Its just too slow.

Its on EW to fix this.
Or refund Nuendo users, and advertise the problems EW has with Nuendo. :-(

WB is just not stable, It freezes Many times a day with the message I have posted, as a VST insert or Stand alone. I cant use it.! Its a Lemon for me. - I am on PC, here :

XP Pro SE2, DUAL Opeteron 2.4 g, 2.0 G RAM,Sata 0 Raid, 4 Midiex 8s r2 Firmware 2.1 (Driver 1.93 Beta), 3X USB PCI card 2.0 2 X Dell 2405 Monitors, Matrox 750 Parhelia, Nuendo & SX Beta & finals 3.XX, SX , Wave lab 6 etc etc - is this better on a MAC



I have a peer, on a pC that is also very unhappy & has been talking to nick trying to get around his problems.

I am a beta tester for Stienberg, so I will ask on there beta forum, if any one has had better luck than I. But I will wait to here from you.

I understand that you're bumping the thread, but I have not received any choir file from you as I asked in my previous post.

I do not have Nuendo here, but I run Choirs on Cubase SX 3 with very little trouble. As far as I know, they use the same underlying MIDI system...

Bobby. Its me LEX. How's it going? Tell Thonex about this too.
I have WB inserted in my template and haven't had any problems.
I'll have to try it again, but I have been able to get around the disable KS thing.
So I think this is what I did.
With a my dual monitor setup, I have my project window on my left screen, and mixer on the right. Monitors set for stretch and independent reso.
I think I put the WB on the left screen to work with it. I close the WB app, select the mixer, then CRTL+TAB to the project window and can continue to use the Key Commands.
I am still Version 3.2.

I know it works, but I'll have to sit infront of it again and try it. It is something like the above.
If I remember correctly both you guys have Matrox video cards. It may have something to do with how the monitors are set up. As the way I do it, the mixer isn't selected unless you CRTL+tab to it, or click it with your mouse.
