This guy is so sick it's scary. As far a TV writers go he's unequaled as far as I'm concerned. DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, Star Trek, Family Guy. The stuff he did on DuckTales is way too good. I LOVE DuckTales, but if I were a writer I don't think I would have thought to write music that gorgeous, hip, and cinematic for TV. Well he did.

I love this guy. I thought his unceremonious dumping from TNG was a crime. He was the only composer on that show to use Goldsmith's TMP theme on a regular basis. His Borg music was inspired was well. More recently, I loved his riff on Goldsmith for the Family Guy Poltergeist spoof.
