View Full Version : Controllers visibility in Logic automation

I'd love to be able to edit expression, vibrato, mono/poly switch and other controllers in Logic's automation sub-tracks instead of editing it inside a part, using piano roll or other editor. I used to work in Cubase as well and in that program any controller can be edited the same way the track automation is edited - on a sub-track. In Logic you can't edit standard MIDI controllers on automation sub-tracks directly. But you can edit a plug-in parameters instead, however - only this alowed by a plug-in. PLAY allows automation for most of his parameters, but no the most important - expression, vibrato and mono/poly switch (I'm thinking about HS, but I suppose HB and HOW have more controllers onboard). I think it would be more convinient, intuitive and elegant :)

Hi you can transform expression or cc1 vibrato to automation data in logic > pref> quick automation.
Hey one question cauz i new to play instance. When I load several instruments in an instance can you apply automation to all
of the instruments ?
because It only works forme with the first instrument.
