This is a song I have written for a game I'm involved with. It's called COR Project, and it involves big robots transforming and beating the stuffing out of each other. Good fun. :) Although I'm primarily involved in the sound effect department, I wanted to show them what I can do as far as music composition goes.

This is written as a title screen/trailer song. They wanted a hard metal sound to it, but I wanted it to be a little bit more sophisticated, so it ended up as orchestral rock. I'm using EWQLSO Silver for the strings, brass, piano, and vocals. I have a 4-part latin text ready for Symphonic Choirs to sing, but that will have to wait until the end of the month. ;) Until then, I substituted "Ah"s. I might even leave it as is.

This was composed in Sibelius and sequenced in Acid, along with a bunch of loops and synths. I'm thinking this is about ready to go, but I'm looking for any additional input before we put it in the game. Any comments are welcome.

Oh, and if you'd like to see some more information on COR so you have an idea of where this is going, check http://www.corproject.com.

Thanks,
Nick
