Hi, I just installed Wb and Choirs, and I can't manage to enter text in it.
Instead, it triggers Cubase actions (space bar = play, etc.)...
It's probably a silly thing, but can you help me out?
Thks in advance,
Iván

if you run wordbuilder within Cubase, Cubase still receives all keyboard shortcut commands. You will have to disable keyboard shortcuts in cubase if you want to use wordbuilder's interface perfectly within Cubase.
hope this helps

You may also want to upgrade Cubase SX 3 and WordBuilder to the latest version. You should be able to type most things in wordbuilder without triggering key commands if you have the latest version...

Thank you, could you please tell me how to disable them? :) (Cubase SX2).
Sam, so with SX3 it is possible to use both kbrd shortcuts and add text to WB? I hadn't upgraded to SX3 because of all the Ram and performance matters that had been reported...
Thks again,
Best,

File->Key Commands->At the bottom right->Presets->clear all
It is a little hussle for those of us who don't use SX3 yet, but I usually work in the choirs at a certain point and due to memroy issues I just export everything, and then I bring back the keyboard commands...
Plus (I haven't tried, just got the idea), maybe you could create a preset with the most frequent commands you use and assign to them numbers (which you won't be using at WB). Hmmm... could work probably...

Thks, Nikolas, I'll try that :)
How would you bring them back, btw?
