After several years of using QL pianos and many other VST pianos, a few things emerge other than having gigantic sample libraries.

It seems that better "emulation" of the behavior of the piano, ie hammers, strings, soundboard, sympathetic resonance , as well a way of actually tweaking the velocity settings using a software calibration wizard( so that you can tweak the velocity settings that are peculiar to your keyboard rather than a "one size fits all) gets closer to the vitality and realism of the piano other than well recorded and layered samples.

Since the piano is such a complex instrument it would be worth the time and effort to create such an "emulation model" that could allow for better responsiveness and realism, this could also be backward compatible with the older QL pianos .
Adding the capacity also to " route" the piano in the stand alone player through " Spaces" would be a nice feature.
Finally the cherry on the cake would be, to demonstrate the virtues of this new emulation model , to feature the Italian Grand Fazioli

Thats all for now

Cheers, JRM

That's definitely a #1 for me. By the way, I have a pole regarding pianos within the Instrument Suggestions section of the Suggestion Box.
