I have a phrase: Excelsis Gloria. Is there a way to get the choirs to sing only Gloria? I've been through the manual, but can't find an answer. I've found a workaround, but it's a bit clumsy. I'm up against a deadline here (and suffering form laryngitis, ironically!), so if it is in the manual, I've missed it and apologise, but i'm also curious to know how one would deal with larger texts, like, say, a whole chorus. I've checked out the Events tab, and am using that to trigger the top of the lines at each entrance, but can't figure out how to trigger just the "Gloria".

What if there's a line one wishes to repeat at the end or middle of a chorus? How can the choirs "know" that one would want just that particular line sung, and skip the rest?

Thanks.

Hello,

WordBuilder sings one word after the next. There is one MIDI trigger to start from the beginning of the words, which you can set in wordbuilder's preferences under events.

If you want to use the same phrase over and over, I'd suggest writing the whole thing out in order, or if the pitches/rhythm is the same, bouncing and copying audio.

If there's a single word or phrase you want to repeat, look again in the MIDI events for the hold and release syllable messages.

I'll take a look at that. Thanks for the tips.
