Hello I've been using choirs for several months now and it seems after updating osx and now getting this new choirs 1.3 update my choirs is dead. On setting up a normal session as always it no longer works

for example...if I load up a soprano. Surround mic VBF patch in the multi and try to play a note it seems to crack the notes horribly and the comp feels like its dieing and certain notes are being held out and its like a hard lock up.... After about a min I'm able to control it enough to close it down. Any idea's? I've never had any issues and my set up is as you suggested. Not sure whats going on here.

OSX 10.4.7
pro tools LE 7.0
G5 duel 2.0 gig
3 gigs of ram

Hello,

Have you tried re-installing the DFD extension? Which version of choirs did you update to?

hey I updated to your new patch the 1.1.3

The last choir update I had was the one that gave all the latin phrases and what not.

It seems that the word builder is causing all of my problems right now. Once I closed it down my system went back to normal. I guess I'll try reinstalling the dfd and then if that doesnt work reinstalling the entire program.....I'm not sure what happened here.

I updated my osx about 2 weeks ago and then the word builder 2 days ago. Very painful this is hehe

Hello,

Ah, I was a bit confused there, I thought you meant the update to the Kompakt player, not WordBuilder. I don't think that reinstalling DFD will help with the problem if that's the case. If you go back to using 1.1.2, does it work better?

Also worth noting, on the Digidesign website ProTools LE 7.0 is not officially supported above 10.4.6. ProTools LE 7.1 is. Perhaps that has something to do with it?

Is pro tools going to support the new update? or am I going to have to do a full out reinstall of the whole system? Any idea's are helpful. As of now it looks like the .7 update is the cause of the issues.

Pro tools works but seems sluggish
Word builder does not work at all usable.

I don't know about reverting OS X, but perhaps try using choirs and WordBuilder standalone to see if they still work?
