Happy New Year!

Thanks - been waiting for this for awhile. Would the subscription carry through after the 10 days though or would it ask me if I wish to continue?

Itīll automatically continue through. You can bypass this by deactivating. :(

Don't be sad Lorenz, I pretty much have all of EW products so the CC doesn't really benefit me but I love the idea. I would have totally paid for a subscription 2 years ago :p

Thanks for the confirmation!

But the REAL question is...
...when is Hollywood Solo Violin releasing? *winks*

A Solo Violin is never late, nor is it early, it arrives precisely when it means to. ;)

This March.

That's funny. I thought strings were always late :)

The only version of PLAY that will run Hollywood Solo Cello as well as Hollywood Harp is v.4.3.2, correct?

I have Windows XP 64 bit, and for what I can see, the latest version of PLAY I can install in my system is v.4.2.2, is this correct?

Therefore, there's no way I can try either Solo Cello or Hollywood Harp? I've downloaded the samples, but PLAY v.4.2.2 does not show the options of adding any of the two libraries, because they had not been released by the time PLAY v.4.2.2 was release.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks!

Play 4.3.2 has only one installer. For both 64- and 32-bit systems.
Have you tried installing it?

Thank you LMW for your response.

Yes, I've tried it. But once installed, when I want to run PLAY in standalone mode, an error message pops up saying that "it's not a valid Win32 application". I guess it has to do with not being compatible with Windows XP. If I want to open as a VST plugin in my DAW, another error pops up, and ends up closing my DAW.

In the Software Download section of the Support in Soundsonline.com it gives you the option to download versions 4.3.2 and 4.2.2, stating that v.4.2.2 is for Windows XP owners (I guess Support already knows that version 4.3.2 is not supported by Windows XP (either 32 or 64 bit).

The problem is that, it looks that Solo Cello and Harp are only available in v.4.3.2, correct? Because when I run v.4.2.2 and right click for the menu to show up and click on "Add Library", neither Solo Cello nor Harp show up. I guess that if I had v.4.3.2 they would, am I correct?

Is there any way I can fix this?

Thank you.

Though I'd ask here because I'm using the free trial....

Why do I have two solo cello folders with the same patches but one has solo at the end?

Correct me if I'm wrong but the whole product is a solo cello?

Hope I'm not being oblivious here, but I can't seem to find a product page for the Solo Cello anywhere. Does it mean it's only available inside the Composer Cloud?

Edit: Alright, Googled my way through it and figured it will be available for non-subscribers later. Either way, can we get an ETA on how much later that would be? :)

When the Hollywood Solo Violin is released they will be available as a set, projected for March.
