Has anybody used the choirs to write/mockup something like a madrigal, with 4+ individual lines weaving in and out? Is this kind of thing possible? How many independent word builders can be run simultaneously? Can it handle fast, bouncy singing? Any demos that demonstrate these things?

Most of the demos I've heard feature sustained, grandiose, homophonic singing, but I'd really like to get a sense of its capabilities for counterpoint and polyphony.

Thanks,
chris.

I haven't tried more than 3 word builders, but had no trouble running that. I'm on a P4 3.2 Ghz with 3 GB Ram. I think it would all depend on your system.

There are different attack styles as well. The Word Builder has built in KS which can switch to staccato attack. Honestly though, I have not played around with that too much. If you're contemplating getting it though, I wouldn't hesitate at the group buy price. I just bought it two weeks ago for double the price, and I'm happy.

Loking back in my old pieces I found this one. It is a full SATB with polyphonic arrangement. Two WB (man and female choirs) into Kontakt
Take a look at this:
