Three weeks ago I made a Flash animation intro for a website that I'll be setting up soon to promote my stories. This was prior to buying Symphonic Orchestra, so the music is done with the internal voices of my Yamaha PSR-330. It goes like this (http://www.superiorvision.f2s.com/website-intro.html).

Note that there's no pre-loader, so the screen will be blank while it loads. It's only about 300k though. If you're wondering about all those odd words, they're all names of countries, cities and religions from my novel. The symbols are national flags. The significance of the magpie is in reference to one of the derogatory nicknames used to describe the Ereban Order, ie. the grey magpies.

Today I decided to redo the music in Cakewalk using the SO samples. Here's the result! (http://www.superiorvision.f2s.com/website-intro2.html)

<3 SO Silver :D

Much better, but the strings are still a bit eggly.

Eggly? @_o

Thanks for the comments. Bear in mind that in both cases the audio has been optimised for quick loading over super-uber-fidelity. Such is the curse of Flash, or more importantly making sure that people bother to wait until it's loaded :p
