Hey, first off. EWQLSC is AMAZING!
Ok, so lets say I'm singing a mE and I want to extend the E sound but change the pitch of the vocalist's throughout the held E. Is this possible? If so, might anyone give me some advice?
Couldn't find it in the manual, but I could have missed it.
Cheers,
Dave

There are two ways to do this. The first is just to type in the extra syllables by breaking up the word. So "music" might be "myu! u! u! u! zik" or something like that in phonetics, and "me" in votox might be "mEE EE EE", etc. You have to experiment with the vowel sound to find what sounds right to prolong, but this actually produces quite a realistic effect, and gives you control over the process. The second way is described in the manual on page 77-78, which says you can type in the syllable once and put in MIDI control codes (CC) at the beginning and end of the syllable that has multiple notes, and Wordbuilder will automatically prolong the vowel over the notes. Before doing this you have to define the control codes in Wordbuilder, because there are no defaults established.

Thomas, you are becoming a master WordBuilder very quickly! Thanks for helping other users.
