need tips to better use of EWQL SO silver

hello, i´m pretty new to these programs... SC i´ve got working ok, but with the SO silver, I still have some trouble getting some thing to sound really good, specialy the strings... so if anyone has some tips, like, most important CC´s to use in a midi mokup, how to creat good multis that suite the work...

i have a question, is it right that only the sounds with that modfx in the name answer to the mod whell? or all the sounds answer to it, and i´m doing somenthing wrong with it???

If you're playing in your parts the mod wheel controls volume (CC 1) on a lot of the patches and some are controlled by Expression (CC 11). You'll have to read your manual or experiment. I don't use the keyswitch patches because I enter the notes into Cubase SX's score editor so I don't want the extra notes to show for printing. I control the mod and expression continuous controllers with Cubase's controller lanes. Some day I will play the parts in real time If I'm pressed for time.
