There are tons of contests for concert music. Listings are given out to SCI (Society of Composers, Inc.) who releases a monthly list of contests. And also same for American Composers Forum. Try searching for those organizations.

Not at all!.. Most of them are international (for a change).

I remember reading up on the TCM Young Composers comp. and it turned out that almost every country was eligable for entering - except Denmark!.. :confused:
