I've seen in several different threads that many of you layer your instruments in order to make them sound more realistic. I tried an example mentioned in a recent thread where you layer an expressive string patch with a qlegato patch, and it sounded absolutely amazing!
Of course, having tasted an example of what layering can do to these instruments, I'm now hungry for more. What patches have you found to work well with each other when layered? How did you tweak the patches to make them fit better? Is there anything I should be wary about when layering?
