Hi I'm getting more into the midi side of recording in Cubase SX2 now I'm using EWQLSO Gold Pro XP .
I'm currently using a Studiologic SL-990, 88 Note midi controller. (without the manual may I add).

I was wondering if any one could give me any tips about controller codes, CC11 etc and how to assign and change them.

ps could I use my Triton Extreme as a midi controller also at the same time, as this has more dials buttons etc to assign.

Thanks in advance

I don't think the SL 990 can assign midi cc's to it.

Google midi continue controllers. there should be an explaination of all of them.

CC11 is expression.

I also use a lot of Instrument Banks in Kontakt2 (and never use the Kompakt player that comes with EWQLSO/Gold XP Pro) so I can use the ten-key pad to switch articulations on the fly (which are "program change" events).

Try it on your Extreme ... you might like the flexibility more.

i hope this helps ... :) KevinKauai

Jim,

I've been advised Maple MIDI Tool for CCs remapping to go with the Maple MIDI Cable as loopback connectors to be able to use the standalone mode of Kompakt.
