I have a question concerning the Cubase SE 3 Score editor. It seems it only shows the treble cleff on instruments with both bass and treble such as the piano. Is this some sort of limitation unique to only SE 3?

In SX3 you can choose to have, for instance, two staves with a split point - eg middle C and above going into the upper one (treble clef) and lower notes in the lower one (bass clef). Alternatively, you can use "polyphonic voicing", which can do things such as an SATB score but also can work well for piano, whether or not the piano part is contrapuntal-ish or more chordal. (Both these features were in Cubase Score for Atari, some 15(?) years ago.)

My strong advice is to get Cubase video tutorial in order to know how to use it.:)

Speaking of score editing, does any one know about the score editing features in SONAR 6 Producer edition. I am sticking to my current ver. of Cubase 5 VST simply for my method of data input, via the score, and I need to know if Sonar has a score mode as good as Cubase sequencers? Ive used old PC versions of logic (In fact that was one of the first sequencers I ever used) and this had an AWFUL score editing feature. Im hoping that other sequencers apart from Cubase have paid attention to this aspect of the program!
Cheers!
