So in all of my songs I find that when I use strings up on the high end, everybody claims that they sound "synthy", yet I do to them what i do to all the other strings, and i've noticed in some songs that use high violins that they too sound kinda "synthy", but these are live, and maybe i'm just not hearing the grainy details.
Are high strings naturally synthy sounding because of their frequency? If this is not so, what tips would you guys have in covering this base?
