Thanks Steve, it shouldn't be there (it's not now), it's a Silver Demo using some of the choir sounds from Silver also.

From the page:

"The above and below demos (except SPHINX and SILVER GIANTS - which includes sounds from STORMDRUM and VOICES OF THE APOCALYPSE, and ALIEN ASSAULT - which includes other rock sounds, and NUCLEAR DAWN - which includes sounds from VOICES OF THE APOCALYPSE and ABSYNTH 2), were created using only sounds from the GOLD EDITION of the EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA. No processing, effects, or reverb were added to these demos. If you have a fast connection, we strongly recommend downloading the 16-bit .wav files below. To play them select CLICK HERE. To download them (recommended) right-click (Windows) or option click (Mac). "

Alien Assault is listed as having other instruments.

Ah my mistake then. It was originally my housemate who noted it and I should have been more vigorous with my inspection before posting. Apologies

I've just listened to Captain Black's Compass about a dozen times now - I've never caught it before since it was buried in the WAVs section.

What an amazing piece. If I can get my stuff to sound half as good I'll be impressed with myself. *laughs*

With your permission ;) , I'll quote from your web page -

and for the last 5 years I have established my own very original musicstyle, where I emphasize the three major aspects of music: Melody, Rhythm and Harmony
... and Dynamics, Stig - Dynamics is The Forth Element. What would music sound like if played at a constant level of intesity, eh?
Timbre (or Color) would be The Fith one. Most people do enjoy timbre variability, especially in orchestral music.
If you really look for originality, go find The Sixth Element, whatever it might be. :p

in a very dynamic way to suit your needs. After a lot of work with musical expressiveness and the technichal art of the field, I've developed the ability to fuse together these three most important elements in music to develop themes, mood expressions and characterial portray with lasersharp focus, while maintaining a touch of originality.
Seriously, Stig, do yourself a favor and change this childish presentation - being 20 years old it's not an excuse. (Or you do think it's an advantage? ) In your place, I would use as few words as possible, while trying to make it visually inciting instead. It's better to make people curious, rather than throwing into their face how skilled and amzingly good you think you are, with your "lasersharp focused portrayals" and so. As for the music samples - in whole honesty, I find them too simplistic to my taste - they match your verbal presentation, to say so ;) . Listen to your samples alternatively with cues from film scores that you like, and you'll see what I mean. You really need to be as close as possible to that level, especially when you expose yourself in such a self-assured manner.

Well done, you have 5 symphonies and so many major works so far  I am 30 years old and I've written only few works. You wrote your first symphony at 15! I was only playing tetris and pacman in that age!

I still play tetris...

Stig: I did like your demos, but I can't say I found sooo much oringinality or personal language to them... :-/ Sorry to dissapoint you. It is apparent though that you have talent, and that you have worked hard...

To all the rest: Maybe another Mat? That would be fun... But I don't really think so...
