hi guys. just got ew gold and it is wonderful. i'm wondering what you have all found to be the most efficient and/or accurate way to program when the clock's running. would it be using a single keyswitching program or a x-fading/modwheel program or just using several midi tracks with several samples for each instrument?

i guess i'm looking for a concensus. as i'm just getting my programming together in this format, i'd like to know what most of you are doing before i teach myself some innefficient d.i.y. work style.

thanks

Hi jackorhythm,

One of the things I do if I'm building a basic string section is use the full orchestra (50 Piece Sec) to put my basic string section ideas together on one midi track. Later I go back and assign each part to a different instrument(s) and midi channel(s). The 50 piece sect is also great for just playing around on the keyboard for ideas.
