Hey guys,
I'm still running Finale 2007, and I'm just wondering if there's any way for me to get my work to play through Symphonic Gold PLAY edition? I'm running on a Mac. Any details you need just let me know! Thanks, Chris |

Im not a Finale user, Im in the sibelius camp but if you can set up MIDI in/outs as you can in most programs these days, you should be able to use a virtual MIDI cable (im not sure whats available for Mac) something like midi yoke or loopbe, and run Play either stand alone or in a VST host like bidule or cantabile - spelling might not be right - and then link to it with the virtual MIDI cable.
Hope this makes some sense

Using Finale 2010 and just got EW Gold. Is there a post somewhere that details how to make EW Gold work under Finale?

I don't know about macs, but I've had no trouble running SO gold through Finale 2010 on my PC. Go to where the options for VSTs are, and tell it where to find SO. Assuming the PC version is similar to a mac, go to where the VST instruments are located, and select PLAY. You then set it up just like you would with the built in Garritan instruments.
