I'm looking to trade in my dual 19" CRTs for widescreen LCDs. Just looking for opinions on best bang for the buck. From 20" to 32" widesscreen

The Dell 24" LCD has gotten really good reviews and they'll run it on sale for around $800 sometimes. That's what I'm planning on getting, it seems to be the best bang for the buck..

The Dell 30" has also had some good press. However, you may have to upgrade your video card to run it.

I run 2 Dell 21" widescreens as my main screens and 1 Samsung 19" above my midi keyboard. The Dell LCDs look soooo much better than any other LCD I've had, and with a coupon from Slickdeals.com I was able to pick up both of them for $420 each, and they retail for $700. I also have a Nvidia 6800 and it runs them perfectly. The Nview multi monitor software is great too. Can't go wrong with Dell.

P.S Dell monitos are made by LG Electronics, one of the best LCD screens manufacturers.

Yes; don't buy anything from Dell without a current coupon code. If you don't look, you probably padded their margin nicely.

Before we can suggest anything we need to know if you are you looking for the 'Hollywood Look' straight out of the box?

Just to let everyone know, the price of LCDs are dropping at a pretty fast rate and widescreen LCDs are hot in the PC market.

SO far, the Dell 24" widescreen looks like the best bang for the buck. It supports very high resolution, 12ms, PC input, and is selling for $839. Can probably get cheaper with coupons as ShinyPenny had mentioned earlier.

In the UK it is on "sale" at 25% discount which almost matches the US price (if you don't count the VAT), but so far I've been unable to find any coupons for Dell products. Maybe when the "sale" ends they will introduce some.
