Analog summing with RME?

There are a lot of opinions on this topic. I have read that you need good AD/DA to do this. Is anyone doing analog summing with RME converters? If so, does it sound good? Most all of my recordings are virtual instruments with an occasional vocal track. I am considering using a dangerous d box or 2 bus LT with my RME Multiface.

I have an RME Multiface II, and i sum mixes through a BAE Neve channel. Sounds amazing.

"Good AD/DA" is a relative term. If you have a low level signal from the DAW hit a DA, you're losing information. But if you did the mixing on an analog mixer, you could send a hotter signal to the DA, preserving the resolution. So there are trade-offs, and everything is subjective.
