Default Coda 4ª mvt 9th Symphony of A. Bruckner

Hi,

We know that Bruckner completed only the first three movements of his 9th symphony. The fourth movement composed approximately 2/3 parts, but did not write the final coda absolutely not a single bar...

So we can only imagine how he could finish the symphony.

Here's the version I've imagined.

In the initial crescendo violins play a triplet as at the end of the first movement of the 9th symphony.
It includes references to the fourth Movements of other symphonies That share the Same texture as in the fourth movement of the 9 th.
Specifically, in the 7th symphony is more evident caps (and vindicate the strength and Importance of a movement unjustly neglected), 5 th Symphony (more discreet) and the overlap on the 6th.

The thought of the finale is based on the harrowing first bar of the third movement of the 9th. But now after a critical dissonance and all ends well ... certainly deserves Bruckner

Impressive. I could hear some of the references you speak about, but it also sounds new. Certain parts sound too dissonant for Bruckner, I think, in particular around 3:00, but overall it is certainly in his style. I could try to analyze it a bit more, but that seems above my knowledge, and I guess that is true for the other members of this forum as well. The sound is not flattering to your work: especially in the gentler parts the strings sound very much from a sequencer, but overall I'd say that this is a most impressive job. Congratulations.

Thanks Teo for your comment, and I'm glad you liked.

Indeed, I have focused mainly in the brass, and am unconcerned about the string
Maybe I went too far with dissonance, but I wanted to draw attention to the harmonious evolution representing the 9 th symphony.

If the handle as well as know you, I would have liked completed the end with the Symphonic Choirs...

Saludos
