My Axe-FX II guitar soundcard is locked at a sample rate of 48kHz. Does this mean I'd be unable to use sound libararies recorded at 44.1kHz in the same project?

Great. Thanks.

Ah, the $64,000 question. If you have a lot of time on your hand just do a search of the forums for sample rates (or type in your favorite rate) and be prepared to spend a substantial amount of time reading the pros/cons and arguments......

OK, let me rephrase the question. Do you guys match your project sample rate to your libraries?

I don't. I usually just set my sequencer to the bitrate and samplerate I want for my finished, mixed and mastered project--usually 24b and 48kHz (which I believe is the industry standard for film scores). It makes it easier to keep things consistent throughout my projects.
