Default My VOP Example

There were a few questions about how VOP works and whether you end up being confined to write with the vocal or not.

Well, it depends. If you use phrases then maybe, if you use the welsh word patch? no. Overall, it's more flexible than any other vocal library I can tell you that.

Example: http://www.wingsofworship.com/VOPtest.mp3

Beginning is Syrian Vocal Phrases right out of the box.

Vocal during the strings is the welsh vocal with words singing: "Dream in the Rain. The Soft-ness. In the Fire. Love so True. Drown in Hate. So True, so soft-ly."

In my opinion there should be more words available. And I'm thinking they could be anticipating that. The words you can't clearly hear, but that probably would be more flexible than having it sound exact.

The vocal with the percussion is the Bulgarian Phrases. (There is one phrase in there that probably isn't chosen right.)

The strings are VSL Appassionata. Drums are SD (not two)

Sounds great. Great composition! There a few spots where you can tell it's samples.

With every new VoP demo I just get moore goose bumps. I'll say it again, I've never heard anything like this before. Legatos? Increadible.

Fabulous composition, beautiful.

I see big awards coming for this lib.

The new era of sampling is here.

Is Vatroslav the only living orchestral composer without Hollywood ambitions?

... And the old signature(why am I getting nostalgic?)

Trust me Nick I plan on nit-picking it.

Welsh singer sounds like a flute or robot. Reminds me of Yamaha Vocaloid.

Still sounds more realistic than any other lib out there imo. Vocals are touchy. Will be years till people hit the mark.

I wish they would continue working on that! I have Leon and Lola and 4 or 5 years ago, they were a great start . . . but then no updates!!!

Nice piece, Nathan!

Yes - in places - also noted that is one of the official demos. Aside from that - which I assume is relegated to the Welsh phrase builder - it sounds pretty darned good. Just don't think I would ever use Syrian, Arabic, Indian or Welsh phrases. (Especially not knowing what is being said.)

Vocal libs are the hardest things to do.
