Logic/WB/Kompakt Connections

I'm still struggling to get EWQLSC to work with Logic. I now can see sound coming into my Logic track via the little VU meter in the track (yeaaaay!), but I can't hear anything yet.

I'm not sure that my Kompakt player is configured correctly. In the SC manual (p. 58) it directs me to specify the same "loopback connection" as an output in WB and as an input in Kompakt. I have set the output in WB to WordBuilder 2, MIDI Channel 1. Now what do I have to do in the Kompakt MIDI preferences? I have the choice of turining on/off five WB MIDI ports. I have set my MIDI In to WordBuilder 2 in the Kompakt Prefs. Is this correct? I'm not sure what to do with the Kompakt MIDI Out settings. I have tried all manner of combinations of prefs, but I still can't get sound in Logic. I can get the solo voices to play in Logic, so something in the Kompakt player is working.

I know this is pioneering software and *we* are the Lewis and Clarks trudging the trail, so I'm patiently persevering, but I sure would like to hear some gorgeous choral music--with words--pouring forth from my speakers one day soon.
