Default Boz Range

Just currious. How does one access the extra keys of the Bozendorfer Piano? Do you play those notes on a seperate track - then transpose them before your final mix?

First, you'll need the special jacket...

You can often draw them in your Daw's Key Editor. Not sure what DAW you use, so I can't be more specific, but most DAWs have ways to add/edit MIDI notes and controller data. Not many folks have controllers with more than 88 notes, so inside your DAW is really the best way to do it..............playz

You mean you don't have a 92 key midi controller?

What is this madness? Do they even SELL less than 92 key controllers?

On a more serious note, where can I get that jacket?!

I don't believe there are midi controllers with more than 88 keys, but a lot of keyboards (even the smaller ones) have octave transposition keys that allow you to reach the full range of the Boesendorfer, down to the lowest keys.

ps Andy - that's a very cool pic of Boz Scaggs.
