This is something I wrote to just play around with HS legato patches a little more, would love some feedback

On the negative side: it sounds sloppy, the celesta is a bit overbearing, percussion is a bit too loud. On the positive side: once the strings kick in, it's really nice. The string lines provide tension and their tempo contrasts nicely with the percussive elements. My image is one of time passing (something in which the celesta's ostinato plays a part), the weather is ugly (e.g. raining), and we watch something through a window, or we follow someone from a distance.

Thanks! After going back and listening today I definitely her the Perc and Celesta stick out. IDK what I was hearing last night.

At 0:25, the low strings have an unnatural short pause. It doesnt sound staccato or marcato. How about make a mini cresc for the starting note after the pause?
At 0:58, suggest a stronger bass line after the hitting cymbal. At 1:06, the harp sounds unrealistically louder than the Strings + perc combined. |
