It's possible to download any content using the program J-Downloader... Music and/or video from youtube, soundcloud...etc The average quality of soundcloud protect us a bit I guess...
Most people will download it just for listening to your music, not using it for a commercial purpose. So I guess that's ok if you publish only samples of your work. Otherwise, if you want to sell an album you should do it on Itunes, right?

Or Amazon. I feel like it doesn't hurt to go the extra mile and put music up on Amazon, Napster/Rhapsody, eMusic, etc. wherever you can possibly put it. Amazon and Paypal also have a setup where you can sell things like music from your own site for a small fee, which is probably not a bad idea either so that people can buy the music download or even the physical disk without leaving your page.
