OK please forgive my ignorance here but I definitely need some clarity now....

Outer limits is ZERO-G not East West/Quantum Leap right?

So can we use Zero-G libraries or not?

THank you!

Outer Limits is very cool, except it's not a EW/QL product, which is required for the contest, Adrenaline is a EW product.

Very cool contest, again. As there's a lot of new people around these forums recently, prepare for hours and hours of listening

And wow, the prize sounds crazy

Thanks!

It is not EW product, it is Zero G. Too bad you can't use it.
The Zero G is something wonderful to put in the background and is IMHO more versatile than Atmosphere (it has ambient sounds, wicked sounds, click sounds). With proper sound design you can make wonders with it. And combined with Colossus' stormdrones you have got very powerful tool to work with.

Default sound design

Hi guys -

Last year I (and many others) used extensive sound design with EWQL source sounds to create the sound desired - is this allowed this time?

Stuart

Just some clarification needed: You say that the composers should post links to their entries as well as their MP3s... So, technically, we don't upload the files to your site; we host them on our own sites, and give the audience a link to get to them...?

Default vocals

Hello there

I read in the rules that vocals were not allowed....
If I use EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP SYMPHONIC CHOIRS are they vocals? are they allowed?

best regards

Hmm, so this will be an orchestral-only score from me.
I only own EWQLSO Gold. That's a bit limiting and unfair compared to
people who own lotsa EW products.
But I'll take the challenge...

Cheers,

Stevie
