I was bored so I decided to take a little break and have a bit of fun. I know there have been several other attempts with this fanfare, so I thought I would add mine to the list lol

Thanks guys...
@ Jacob, can u be a bit more specific as to what sounds synthy? The sound overall? Brass? Strings? @ Wlad, I'm not sure if its the strings chord or the tuned timpi and low brass? |

Timpani sounds good, strings ok, but trumpets are terrible. It's maybe couse of how the library sound by itself. Add a bit of humanization to it. Don't quantize everything exact to the grid. Maybe vary a little bit the dynamics of theses stacs. Whatever will work.

Hey thanks Jacob,
I'll try to humanize the brass section a bit so it doesnt sound as synthy or mechanical

hi,
i think the arrangement is well done. but jacob's statement "too synthy" is correct. which library do you use? try to humanize the snare at the beginning, too. it sounds a bit like machine gun. use different velocities and don't quantize 100%. do you have a approximately quantise function in your DAW? sorry, i don't know the exact word, because i have the german version of cubase. but it's a great tool and will help you to get a more human sound. i never use exact quantise, and that has improved my sound very much.
