Default I'm Joseph Confused

Hello, I am a jazz flutist and fledgeling composer. I bought East West Composer Cloud because I thought I would be able to turn my Sibelius compositions into final recordings using Logic Prox X and high quality sounds. I can't get off the ground and feel overwhelmed. Now I'm thinking I am not experienced enough to use these sounds and I'm about to give up.

I have tried exporting midi of my projects to Logic and then adding sounds from PLAY. All I have ended up with so far are a bunch of mismatched sounds. Frankly Sibelius sounded better. I have written for support and they suggested I get soundsetproject.com soundsets to add Play into Sibelius directly.

Why would I do that? How will it help me more easily turn my compositions into finished music? Is there another big learning curve for soundsets? Can you recommend any resources for learning how to use sound libraries effectively? Thanks for any input.

Welcome Joseph! Trust me, these libraries sound amazing. The thing is, one cannot expect them to sound great right "out of the box", even with the soundsets. It takes to learn how all of the different articulations work, including a LOT of experimenting, reading, and video tutorials. I hope they work out for you!
