Default Composer Cloud With Pro Tools On iMac

Hello out there,
It's been a while since I've used large sample libraries and I was wondering if anyone else is using a similar system as mine and if it's holding up. Years ago, I had to have a second computer running Logic for my EW libraries. Now that computers are so much faster, I'm wondering if my system could hold its own while utilizing Composer Cloud. I am using Pro Tools HDX on a 2016 iMac Retina i7 with 32 GB Ram.
Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

I'm not sure if this is why I haven't received any responses, but I just noticed that my signature is almost 10 years old. I have edited it now to lessen confusion.
Are there less people in this forum now? Questions used to get responses the same day, and now I see a large handful (including mine) that can't seem to get a response. It's too bad, this forum has always been a great source.

That's a difficult question to answer, as there are so many factors. If you have fast external drives (for the sample libraries), a good audio interface, and plenty or Ram, then technically "yes". But if you load mammoth templates (loaded with Hollywood Diamond) and run a ton of audio and video, then maybe not. The best thing to do is load up a big template and put your system through the ringer, the n you'll know if there's any bottlenecks.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm also wondering this- I see that they sell a loaded HD with the libraries on them to use with CC, but it isn't an SSD. Are people recommending to get that drive and then load it onto an SSD? I'd never survive downloading all that over the internet. Having said that, I see people stating that an SSD is the best way to go.
Thanks again

I just emailed with the company. There is a misprint on the drive information. CCX is sold on a 2TB SSD, but in the buy now page it states that it was a 1 TB 7200 HD.

The CCX HD is not an SSD, but rather a 2 TB Buffalo External HD, 7200 RPM, USB 3.0 which is an optional purchase, or you can download any of the libraries for either ComposerCloud or ComposerCloud X through the EW Installation Center.
