There are a lot (and I mean: a lot) of pieces with a repeating chord progression, but you pull it off quite well. However, I got the feeling you were cheating a bit around 2:00...
The sound is very warm, probably because of the pad. The mix is quite nice, and I particularly liked the string effects, and the turn at the end of chord progression.
I think your attempt was pretty successful.
