Default Sorting through EastWest libraries

Hi all,

Having access to all these amazing libraries is like being a little kid in a candy store with an unlimited budget and a huge appetite.

How do you find the sounds you're looking for without auditioning each one? The descriptions are written in a sort of short-form code, especially the strings sections. There are so many samples to audition. The same is true for the ProDrummer library. How do you find the loops where brushes are used, for example? Does anyone have any tricks to share? Thanks.

I spent an hour going through the ProDrummer manual. They explain very well how to find the grooves, kits, styles, etc...

What I can't believe is not one of the Stent or Chiccarelli libraries has brushes being played on an open snare - unless I missed something. How can that be?

There's snares with brushes in the Chiccarelli kits 1 and 3 (though you have to load it up and switch the 'Drums' out to get those (there's no brush swirls though)

Thanks, Michael. The swirls aren't too difficult to create on my own. The fancier brush slaps are best done by the experts though. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks again!
