This track is a calm, ethereal sounding song that ends in a grand splendor of french horns, strings and choir.
I became inspired to make it after Neil Armstrong's death triggered a huge interest in space for me. I feel this song would play as one floated among the heavens. I used Hollywood Brass, Symphobia and tons of Omnisphere for organic, space-like textures and instruments. I then topped of the track with some QL Spaces reverb to give it a large, ambient feel. http://soundcloud.com/geocranium/the-cosmonaut Would love to hear some feedback/comments! Sounds nice, reminds me of a space scene from toy story or a disney film.

There is certainly something in the sound that makes it sound spacy. Nice chord progressions, nice rhythmic elements and decoration: well done.
