Default Vapor Synth

I just received this today. Love it. I've found all the voices I want except for one which could be used for keyboard lead solos in the likes of Dragonforce, Dream Theater, Symphony X, that kind of lead sound. What is the best patch on there for that?
Thanks

It is an absolute bargain. I've since been noodling around and found a way to alter things and get a sound closer to what I am looking for for leads, and I know I will find it exact pretty soon.
I do have however, one issue:

I am trying to find a way to play chords on something other than pads? I know you can on multis aswell, but they are made of pads.
I've tried things like moving the lead sound I want ('mega') into the pads folder but that obviously doesn't work.
I tried stacking multiple lead voices into a multi, setting the inputs all to Omni / MIDI input 1
but I still can't play chords. Is there any way at all? It is kind of important to be able to play chords on a synth voice other than an ambient pad, for me.
Thanks

Im not sure whether I need this product or not.....does it specialize in electronic sounds in the same manner as FM8? I already have Spectrasonics Atmosphere, which is exceptional, so I'm not sure if I need another 'pad product'.

Cheerio folks.

It works with Atmosphere, definitely some different sounds.

Sure is (I think this will work in Vapor).

When you load up a patch in the Kompakt player, you can adjust the maximum polyphony of the patch by dragging, with the left-mouse button held, over the number next to the 2 music notes in the top left corner, next to the RAM usage indicator. This number represents the patch's polyphony. It can be set up to 256 voices. The number on the left of the (x / y) display (the x) is the current polyphony. The y value is the maximum polyphony. Drag the y value to suit your needs. I don't know why this wouldn't work in vapor; it works in every kompakt instrument I've tried.

Yep, your solution works fine in Vapor. I use that library and have run into the same problem. Some of the instruments just have the max. polyphony set to 1, which is why Tom wasn't able to play chords on them.

Cheers,

- Matt
