It's not an argument exactly, but the SD2 demo Breath of Ran Gor; that's a real orchestra, right? 'Cos it sounds to me like it is, yet lots of other people seem to think it could be EWQLSO. I know that EWQLSO doesn't have legato transitions, but I'm positive I can hear (real) legato and much more beyond that points to it being a live orchestra.

So am I right? And If I'm wrong what samples did you use, and who do I have to pay to get them?

P.S Forbidden Planet sounding v. cool - what's the deal with that cello sound? It's great. I hope something that flexible and real sounding will be available as an acoustic cello sound soon...

I would find it odd that they wouldn't be using their own string libraries in their demos since that is what they are trying to sell here, their products.. Maybe they also mixed in some other violin samples besides EWQLSO . The Gypsy violin I think sound very good for legato.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. There is no doubt SD2 is the lib to have, it'll be a while before I can get it. But I'd like to know what string lib, or combined string libs was in that demo.

My guess it's a custom library he uses in a lot of his other projects that isn't out for public like most.

However, if it IS QLSO Play, good job. Although the sound and everything are different to me.

Breath of Ran Gor is EWQLSO PLAY and SD2 with a live small string section on top. Sometimes a few live instruments can really help things along. Just because i make software doesn't mean I'm trying to put musicians out of business. It's an SD2 demo and ALL percussion is SD2.
