Ok so Im scoring an excellent 30min drama-visuals great, acting, directing, script all top notch. Im using Cubase Studio 4. Typically with underscore you divide into cues- I just found out Cubase Studio 4 only enables like 10mins scoring? (Unless Im doing something wrong) I thought Id score through entirely as one session but leave silence where necessary-I have not been given separate video cues .....but strangely Im finding I cant scroll past a certain number of minutes. (Mind you, no music has been written yet.)
Does anyone know if there are 'limits' on the duration of music you are allowed to write in Cubase/other sequencers? I sincerely hope Im doing something wrong and that there is no time limit on scoring-that would be absurd and Id have to pay Steinberg a visit......with my nunchaku. Warrior! ![]()

Have you checked under project settings? This is where you would adjust it if you can..

Yeah, I'm using Cubase SX 2 and you can change the duration under project settings. The default is 10 minutes I think.

I use Nuendo 3.2 and it probably is the same for Cubase Studio 4 so I can also be of help.
Just like T_L and Wes Bender said, on the menu, click on Project --> Project Setup... You should also be able to access this menu by using the keyboard shortcut Shift + S. To increase the 10 minutes default you have, change the Lenght setting. Best of success go with you on scoring your "excellent 30min drama-visuals".

Thats why I always use cubase 4 video tutorials where it shows you absolutely everything and apart from that it is easy to find what you need.
