Default Transcribing.

Hello John!

Big fan of yours, thanks a lot for taking time out for our questions!

In your woodshedding days, did you do any transcriptions (by ear) for eartraining purposes and learning your craft in general? If yes, did you write it down on manuscript paper and/or try to recreate it with the gear you had at the time?

I was entirely "analogue" until aged 19 when my friend at college, Gavin, introduced me to the dark side - a Fairlight.
Your ability to "hear" something being sung or played to you is second only to your ability to "hear" something that is NOT being sung or played to you......
