I just got a second rig (I've never used more than one computer before) and it works great until I start putting alot of cc11 on say 5 or 6 tracks (though the problem is noticeable on even one track if the notes are close together). It starts to hold certain notes too long and then play the next notes off time. If I'm just using my main computer and nothing else, alot of cc11 can make it slow down and start to pop and click but never play back the notes off time. I'm pretty sure the problem is just with cc11 because I've loaded up PLAY in the sampler computer with TONS of instruments with no problem at all...until I start adding expression. Any idea's on what could be causing this? Btw both systems are VisionDAW, the main one running cubase 4 and the sampler system running PLAY with plogue. Thanks, -s

Update: just gave it another try and now its playing everything back very slowly - after let it play for awhile I press stop - the sampler computer is playing back so slowly that it take 3-4 seconds to catch up to where I stopped it. When I erase the cc11 automation from each track (about ten in all) it plays back perfectly. Am I using the wrong midi input in plogue? The wrong audio output? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, -s

It could be assigning the CC11 to OMNI rather than a certain channel, each instrument would ideally use it's own channel.

Thats very possible, it seems like that would overload any system. How do i check something like that?

You can check the controllers in the Piano Roll view. There's a boxed plus icon where all applicable controllers should appear. Also using the List View Editor view you can check there.

Call the guys at VisionDAW. It could be so many things, and they are extremely adept problem solvers. Ryan there has helped me through some VERY tricky stuff.
