Has anyone managed to get PLAY to work with J-bridge? PLAY is the only plug I have that doesn't work. I wonder if it's the same problem as with VE Pro. if so, then it won't work. Anyway, if you've been successful, let me know.

Works for me (with Sibelius as 32 bit host and 64 bit Play). The only funny thing is the GUI which likes to play 'hide and seek'. Kontakt 64 has the same issue though, it's something you can get used to or at least live with. Interestingly Omnisphere's interface is ok. One of life's little mysteries I guess.

If you do a forum search you will find loads of people (including me) have posted about success with J Bridge, it does exactly what it's meant to. What do you mean your plug in isnt working? JBridge will only really help you if your trying to use a 64bit plugin in a 32bit host or something similar. If your using the correct bit plugin in the correct bit host then i dont think JBridge will help. You need to say what the problem is. Are you getting error messages?

It works here as well. However I have problems with exporting audio and freezing tracks. Notes are missing and controller data is skippy as hell.
Anyone had the same problem? |

What I'm seeing is either the disappearing GUI, a blank/beige GUI or J-Bridge crashing. I As it seems to be working, sort of, for other people, I will give it another try when I have some more down time in the studio. I really want it to work, because then it would mean that i could use it in VE Pro, which would mean that it could become part of my template. However, at the moment I can't take the risk with PLAY in any projects, as it is the only plug that I use that can bring down Nuendo. I just want to find a good way of using it, so that I don't have to open another Project each time I want to use PLAY. Thanks for the encouragement though. D |

I have the blank GUI problem when using JBridge and sibelius i find if you minimize the play instance and then restore it, it solves the problem, also sometimes just clicking the blank window does the job, basically you have to get it to refresh the window somehow

Tried Jbridge trial with Notion3 demo, each instance ate up 500MB ram before loading anything, standalone does the same for me, but works otherwise.

Jbridge works like a charm. (bought the thing).
Though you don't need this with EWQL stuff since it has X64 support. |

I could see potentially using it the other way. You've run a 32-bit host for various reasons, but want to load 64-bit Play to access more memory. There are various 32-bit plugins that won't work with Jbridge so that might be a reason.
