Default "Country Capers"

This is out and out country, y'all. It may not be your type of music.

I posted it to show that the EWQL instruments are versatile and can be utilized in many different types of music.

Here is my "Country Capers".

Regards,

I enjoyed listening to the piece! The accompaniment got my foot tapping and was really enjoyable to hear. My only suggestion would be to consider changing up the patches for the violin or throwing in different dynamics. I was a bit relieved to hear the guitar take over the melody for a bit. I think, for me, that confirms that the violin sounds too mechanical. I think you can get a more livelier performance by investigating the use of different articulations.

I don't have a lot of articulations from which to choose, unfortunately.

It's a mandolin, not a guitar.

Thanks for listening and commenting. I appreciate it.

hi Larry! I do not typically listen to this type of piece for enjoyment, but I do enjoy listening to your pieces, and so I enjoyed this one. you always do a great job at providing direction through your melodic phrasing and harmonic progressions. and I love the sometimes oddball (but effective) rhythms that breathe life into your melodies (e. 3:13). you are also beginning to develop quite a unique sound in my opinion, like if I heard a piece and knew someone on this forum composed it, I would be able to know it was you

I have been doing it for a long, long time, Mister Ted...composing music, that is.

Thanks for the kind words.
