Default Installing the Complete Composer's Collection

Hello-

I'm not the most computer-savvy person on the planet, and I'm having problems installing my recently purchased Complete Composer's Collection. The sample libraries come on a 1 terabyte hard drive, which I have sitting beside me, but I'm not clear on how to properly mount/physically install the hard drive onto my laptop. I have a Toshiba L505 and I'm running Windows 7 on it. What I want to do is run the hard drive as an external drive, since I'm not keen on simply replacing the hard drive I already own on my laptop; there's no space to simply add it. Is there some kind of peripheral that I need to run the hard drive externally?

Much appreciated.

Hi, you will need to put the drive in an enclosure to use it as an external drive. The good news is that your laptop has an e-sata connection port, so you should put it in an e-sata enclosure as this is a lot faster access speed than usb and will allow better sample streaming from the drive.
Maybe search the word 'enclosure' on here as there have been a few threads about them and suggestions as to what to use.
All the best.
