This song was written due to a very personal issue...

It starts of quiet and a little thoughtfull, but for all that love it a little more epic just wait til the middle part..

Beautiful. Perhaps I lack a bit reverb on the piano. Still, a piece with lots of emotion and feeling - respect!

love that flute don't you Simon? the cymbal crash ~1:00 seemed a bit odd.

I know you traditionally use a lot of piano and use the piano to structure the piece itself... but 1:32-3:40 I think would benefit from full orchestration and little to no piano. (just personal taste) -- the beginning and end of course is fine. another nice piece man, thanks for posting.

tedreedy: Well, it's almoust never the same fluet which I have used, but you are right, there was a time when I loved using that sort of fluet. I know what you mean with using a full orchestration instead of the piano, but I personally love it this way, also because it makes my music a little different
